IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati says the October 26th elections were free and fair, despite an earlier assessment that he could not guarantee the election would be credible. Chebukati says all the concerns he had raised when he expressed his fears, were addressed.
While he is not happy that the election could not take place in 25 constituencies due to threats of violence, Chebukati says the commission did all it could but could not succeed. He has however called on politicians to address the country's economy to ensure the scenes seen in this electoral cycle are not there in future. Andrew Ochieng reports.
