Portion of Sattarghat Bridge on Gandak River that was inaugurated by CM Nitish Kumar last month in Gopalganj collapsed yesterday, after water flow increased in the river due to heavy rainfall. Within 1 month of its inauguration, a bridge in Bihar's Gopalganj got completely washed away. The bridge and its approach road were inaugurated by CM Nitish Kumar on June 16. The entire project was constructed at a cost of Rs 263 crores.
