Indonesian defence minister Prabowo Subianto is in Singapore on his introductory visit ahead of his participation in the Shangri-La Dialogue Dialogue. Mr Prabowo inspected a guard of honour inspection at Singapore's defence ministry. Discussions with his Singapore counterpart Ng Eng Hen centred on regional security challenges and issues of common interest, including transnational threats like the pandemic, piracy and the delineation of maritime borders.
