Karachi: The action was initiated after the Supreme Court issued demolition order of more than 400 houses in Gulshan-e-Mustafa Federal B Area Karachi. But residents of the area are protesting the process. According to the residents of the area, not only all the houses are leased but also their property taxes have been paid while this area is in the records of Sindh Katchi Abadis. Residents of the area are also of the view that the Supreme Court has ordered action on ST-14 while the action is being taken in another area. Large-scale protests by various political and social organizations and locals, children, the elderly and women continue in the area.
