Former Beatle Ringo Starr has an exhibition at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles - "Ringo: Peace & Love" is the first major exhibit dedicated to a drummer. But how did he feel looking at all the various musical items, outfits, personal letters, photos and footage of his life so far?
"I think it's lovely. It is a bit emotional, but I am doing the press so 'You don't want to see me crying.' I am keeping it up."
The seven-times Grammy winner was born in 1940 in Liverpool under the name Richard Starkey - he rose to international fame with the Beatles in the early sixties, with the wave of "Beatlemania."
He spoke about the items chosen for the exhibit: "This is not all of my stuff. This is a huge piece of it but there are other pieces and these are most relevant to the Grammy Museum, really. It's the music that we're here for and my life of course, so that's why we chose these. We have video to go with all the exhibits."
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are the only surviving members of the original "Fab Four". John Lennon was shot and killed in New York in 1980 and George Harrison died in 2001.
