Winter in Warsaw and Christmas lights on!
Every night millions of LEDs shine along Warsaw streets, squares and even courtyards. A flickering light spectacle for both children and adults, tourists and inhabitants. Starting off the Royal Track at the Belweder Palace towards the Three Crosses Square and finally the Old Town. With stopovers at the Rozdroże Square, Nowy Świat, Krakowskie Przedmieście.
Bypassing a classic link via Zamkowy Square to the Old Town Market wasn’t according to the plan (there was no plan whatsoever) and pid back by revealing different part of rich history of medieval town. Here a Christmas market sprung open along the medieval walls. Turn right just past the Kiliński monument and now straight onto a ice rank claiming the market square for its merry ice-skaters. A route back to Zamek Królewski turned out to be a classic one, but’s OK, it’s worth every single sec and grosz you spend along.
Warsaw looks so pretty this winter, even though there’s no snow at all. But who cares? We don’t and enjoy every night out in this beautiful fairytale atmosphere. Yes, definitely Warsaw's worth of a visit in Christmas time! Why not to spend next Christmas in Warsaw then...
