Orejas – a Mexican Pan Dulce , are sweet treat made from puff pastry, sugar and cinnamon.
Few tips for baking Orejas:
Defrost the puff pastry as per the instruction in package.
Cut the pastries in same size.
Baking time varies with the thickness and size of pastry. Bake at 425F for 4-6 minutes. In between open the oven to check if gets burnt under the pastry. Then remove from oven , flip the pastries. Now keep the baking tray with the front side turns to the back side (for even cooking), and bake for 3-5 minutes. In between check if it’s getting burnt. Remove from oven.
If wanted you can sprinkle little cinnamon sugar on top of pastries immediately after taking out from oven.
