In this video I do a Winging Scapula - long thoracic nerve palsy exam which can be caused by a long thoracic nerve palsy. Not only is there scapular winging but this will affect how the rotator cuff functions and can be quite debilitating especially with overhead activities. The serratus anterior will lose it's ability to keep the scapula in the proper position with damage to the long thoracic nerve.
