A new DNA test for Down's Syndrome is being hailed as "transformational" for expectant mothers. NHS trials have confirmed that a simple and accurate blood test can now detect the likelihood of the disorder with much greater accuracy. But some are concerned it could lead to more pregnancies being terminated without parents being given proper counselling.
