Nigerian Basket Mouth will be one of the headlining acts at the Night Of Thousand Laughs (NOATL), scheduled to take place at Carnivore on June 7. This is the second year running that Basket Mouth has been the face of the Pan African comedy night. “Basket mouth is arguably the best comedian in Africa and he would be the best choice to anchor the show,” Opa Williams, the organiser of the event, told Heads Up. This year’s edition will feature the creme de la creme of Africa’s artists and upcoming fresh faces all on stage. Other comedians to perform include, Funny Bone (Ghana), Patrick Salvador (Uganda), MPHO Modikoane (South Africa), Daliso Chaponda (Malawi based in the UK), Chipukeezy (Kenya) Eric Omondi (Kenya) and Fred Omondi (Kenya).
