Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!

I am so so excited about this video, even though it's probably not the most thrilling watch. I have slowly been getting more and more into growing my own plants, herbs, etc (low key trying to become #cottagecore in the middle of London). There's some correlation between the feeling I get seeing my plants grown and things I've made myself. Dyeing fabrics with things I've grown or found has a similar feeling. I wanted to try natural dyeing for a while, but had never really made the time for it. Well!

As I mention in the video, fabric dyeing is pretty much a science. It is probable that you would be able to get some colour just by throwing things in a pot, but it wouldn't be the colour you are after. I learned a lot through this first experiment. I've also now found that yellow is the easiest colour to achieve when using natural dyes, and that most plants/leaves will give you a yellow colour, so the result is less cool in my eyes now. However, I already have another dyestuffs in line...
