In to day's video we will be collecting elder flowers for our cold and flu tea, showing you how to dehydrate them, as well as briefly going over a comparison between elder plant and some of elders poisonous lookalikes that are flowering at the same time. I highly encourage you before going into the wild to harvest, to watch several of the following great videos that go way more in depth into identification than I could here in this video. I have also included a few links to websites that can give additional insight into identifying either elderberry or it's poisonous lookalikes. This video was not made to be a stand alone identification. The plants we are dealing with are so poisonous that I don't believe any one site or video should be a stand alone for identification, please be very careful before harvesting any wild plant.
