China's southern tech powerhouse of Shenzhen has partially eased lockdown measures after President Xi Jinping stressed the need to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on the economy. The country is currently battling its worst COVID-19 outbreak in two years, with more than 4,300 new infections detected. That is almost double the tally reported on Mar 17.
