Absentee owners are people who own a property that they do not live in. They are the most frequently targeted individuals for real estate investors.
Absentee owner lists can contain both instate absentee owners and out-of-state absentee owners.
A lot of real estate investors pulling an absentee owner list will remove properties that were purchased in the last year. This is a huge mistake as absentee owners sell to me all the time when they've owned the house for just a few months.
