This week, lava overtopped a section of walls protective infrastructure in Iceland, spilling over it and covering 13 acres of land. Meanwhile, in Russia, a new eruption began at the Karymsky volcano, sending a plume of ash to an altitude of nearly 20,000 feet. In Indonesia, a swarm of earthquakes briefly occurred at the Banda Api volcano, while in Tonga, a 21 month old island continued to expand. This video will discuss these stories and list the 47 volcanoes which are currently erupting around the planet.
