Three U-S soldiers were released from captivity by Yugoslav authorities and were then flown to a U-S military base in Germany on Sunday.
Accompanying them was Reverend Jesse Jackson, who played a crucial role in negotiating their release with the Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.
Servicemen from the base together with their families turned out to welcome the former prisoners as they touched down in Germany.
They landed at the Ramstein military base shortly after 1440 G-M-T after 32 days in Serb hands.
They were immediately flown to the nearby Landstuhl Regional Medical Centre five
km (three miles) away.
