00:00 - Alan and Christopher (Alan thinking about the loss of Christopher, what he meant to him); 00:28 - the rebirth of Christopher in Alan's work - the machine; 00:40 - he got to know Joan - Alan and Joan's love/friendship (gave him hope and strengh and friends - a (almost) normal life); 00:50 - the realization he can't bring Christopher back and in the end he felt he will forever be alone.
