The Mid Range is where the fight starts and for the most part usually takes place. If you are able to control this range, 9/10 times you will be the person that will come out victorious

From this range you will see mostly straight punches, but here and there will find yourselves defending yourself from looping (hooks) or overhand shots so be aware of that

Here you want to have your conventional boxing stance and a good guard (or at least the guard you feel comfortable with) because you are in striking zone where you could land but you can also get tagged.

You want to also create good angles to get the edge on your opponent that way you can attack from positions where he is vulnerable and engage and disengage according to the way the boxing match is playing out or the game plan worked in the gym.

Stay defensively sound, your opponent will counter punch you if you are just pure offense. Make sure you react to the punches coming back at you.
