'The real war begins when the one ends. The clock is ticking for a foreigner, an immigrant faced with the coldblooded bureaucracy of a foreign country, as he tries to save his younger sister and prevent separation. Nobody hears their voices, lost in translation.'
The Stamp is a Croatian-Belgian short film, graduation work of producer Dalia Alic for Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb. This bachelor diploma project carries the vision of uniting young filmmakers from Europe together with film professionals and refugees/asylum seekers in one project in order to create a touching story that follows hope, dreams and separation of one immigrant family. Together, young filmmakers from different countries are proving that they can collaborate together and create a high-quality, ambitious and socially engaged film.

"The Stamp" was successfully crowdfunded via Indiegogo with "Leave A Stamp" campaign.
Film is devoted to refugees whose voices got lost in the translation, and to our dearest brother, friend and colleague, Gregory Dessin (1994-2022), a talented filmmaker who left us too early.
Lastly, deepest gratitude goes to every single person, school, organization and company that contributed to this film with the hope that it can keep making the audience think, feel and change the world we have, for the better, while keeping the memory of Gregory Dessin alive.
