In this video my daughter reacts to all of our new homeschool games as I unboxed them. We got so many games it is somewhat ridiculous but we have at least one full day a week that we focus on games as a family. It makes for a wonderful break from traditional books and curriculum. It’s easy enough to find games that teach basic math concepts. Just about every game that keeps score teaches math on some level. I try to find games that teach unusual math concepts, science, history, Geography and reading skills. We do have lots of games that teach logic, but that is not what we focus on when purchasing games for school. In this video you will see us expand our professor noggins collection, add two different math domino boxes to our collection, incorporate some awesome new mental math games, and get excited about exploring the world through history and geography games. Warning! Something goes bizarre with the video midway through. My camera decided to shoot everything in slowMo at one point so I had a very difficult time trying to fix it. My daughter is a kid, not an actress so I have no intention of making her do multiple shoots. If we don’t get it in one shot, we’re not going back to try again. This is real life, not a scripted show LOL.
