IMPORTANT: In the GPH in the video, I didn't include Volatile Magic (I state this in the video).
The VM I got is the equivalent of around 5 Gold per Hour extra.
In this second video of our Solo Materials Farming Series we will be farming Piles of Incandescent Dust (Tier 5) and Piles of Crystalline Dust (Tier 6). You can expect some bonus drops, such as Crystal Lodestones, Volatile Magic, and Karmic Retribution (Karma).
This location used to be more difficult to farm before the End of Dragons expansion came out. Mainly due to the fact that the Branded Awakened enemies have a passive buff called Branded Earth. Every time you would attack them from range, they would get Protection, Regeneration, and Might.
The only way to safely farm these before, was focusing on a build with Boon Strip and Survivability. But thanks to the Offensive and Defensive Jade Protocols, we can now simply burst through their buffs, and reduce their HP to 0 before they become a problem.
Regardless, I would still advise you to run a build with some baked in sustain, as these enemies do pack quite the punch.
While this farm yields less gold per hour than my previous one ([ Ссылка ]), it is a fairly simple and straightforward, and ideal to relax and enjoy the combat Guild Wars 2 has on offer.
