일본군 위안부 피해자 할머니 별세…생존자 12명
Another South Korean woman who was forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese military during World War II has died.
Seoul's Ministry of Gender Equality and Family said the woman, whose name was withheld, passed away last week.
Other information, including her age, has not been made available upon the request of her bereaved family.
Her death brings the number of the registered surviving wartime sexual slavery victims in South Korea down to twelve.
