This video highlights the changes transmedia company Brud executed on their robot @lilmiquela in order to achieve their image of female beauty and in order to better sell her to the public in an effort to deepen their own pockets. The video features Lil Miquela's hit song "Money" (yes the robot is also a pop star sensation on Spotify). I created this montage for my essay exploring digital influencers for my final project in my class Artificial Intelligence in the Media, taught by Professor Little, at the University of Virginia. I used VSCO, Canva, and TikTok to construct the video.
