Let us read the Bible together. Today we’ll be reading 2 Samuel Chapter 1.

Although this book is called 2 Samuel, it was not actually written by Samuel, but rather by the prophets Nathan and Gad.
While 1 Samuel records David’s early years, his calling, and his exile, 2 Samuel is about the best part of David’s life after his ascension to the throne, spanning a period of 38 years.
I believe that the story of David’s life will be an invaluable source of comfort and help to all of us.
