Hannibal is one of my favourite fictional characters (deep fascination with art combined with classy, shrewd intellect and a splendid gift of repartee - how could I refuse!). I devoured all of Harris' books when I first discovered him and would recommend them if you want to understand Hannibal's thinking even better.
