In this sewing tutorial, I will show how to cutting and stitching a double circle skirt or cutting and stitching an umbrella skirt.

For this big circle skirt, you need a big piece of fabric.
I made my vintage skirt for a big table cloth that I bought in the thrift store.
Measurement of the fabric: 320 cm on 160 cm or 3.5 yards on 1.75 yards.
The length of my double circle skirt is around 70 cm or 27.5 inches.

If you want to upcycle you can use a double bedsheet, curtains( thrift stores often sell them in sets) or table cloths.
