About the speaker:
Melanie Care is a genetic counsellor in the Fred A. Litwin Family Centre in Genetic Medicine, a combined adult genetics program at UHN and Mount Sinai Hospital. Having developed a clinical and research interest in the area of cardiac genetics, she has been working with inherited arrhythmia clinic at Toronto General Hospital since its inception in 2012. Melanie is president-elect of the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors and is a clinical instructor and lecturer in the MSc genetic counselling program at U of T.
