This video shows how three different eras and technologies of era look remarkably similar when filmed in slow motion.
Bow: fiberbow 6.3 with Samick Extreme limbs, draw weight 40 lbs. All arrows 28" from nock groove to the tip.
The string only brushes against the arm after the arrow is gone. The release hand is purposefully tensed so that the bow does not rotate into the expensive camera after the shot. The camera was about 8 inches in front and 4 inches above the arrow at full draw.
Camera: Sony RX100 IV shot at 1000 fps.
Voiceover by Giles Barton-Owen.
