Tree Pose is such a great posture because it relieves lower back pain, improves balance and posture, and increases the flexibility of the ankles, knees, and hip joints! The key to getting the most out of the pose is, yes, you guessed it, ALIGNMENT!
🌳 Starting in Tadasana, focus on one spot in front of you to help with balance.
🌳 Grab your right foot from underneath and lift the foot as high as possible.
🌳 Bring the heel as high as you can - be careful with the knee!
🌳 Right hand comes up in front of your chest. If you can balance, bring the left hand up, otherwise leave the left hand on the foot.
🌳 Hold for 10 seconds and release.
🌳 Repeat on the other side.
