Here’s everything we know about Pretty Little Liars Original Sin!

Hey guys! We’re back with more TV news, we’ve got everything you need to know about the PLL reboot, BUT…

Ok so the secrets out we’ve got a brand new set of liars and a whole new A to fear heading to our tv screens!

HBO Max is bringing the PLL franchise back to life and while its similar to the beloved original series it will be a whole new show!

PLL Original Sin is technically based on Sara Shepard’s novels as well BUT will be introducing new characters in a new location!

The description also confirms these liars do exist in the same universe as the original PLL explaining:

The series is being brought to life by Riverdale’s creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and he explained his vision for the project saying:

Our first liar is Imogen, who will be brought to life by Bailey Madison! Imogen is described as a “true survivor” and she will QUOTE: “drive the mystery of uncovering ‘A’ as she fights for her life and the lives of her friends.”
Next up we have Tabby played by Chandler Kinney! Tabby is an aspiring director and horror movie buff and like the other Little Liars, she’s hiding a secret.

Our next liar is Noa, played by Maia Reficco! Noa is described as a striving, sardonic track star who’s working hard to get her life back to normal after a summer spent in juvenile detention!

From track star to ballet star our next liar is Faran played by Zaria! She’s described as “a poised, disciplined ballerina with aspirations to make it out of Millwood. ‘A’ isn’t the only villain in Faran’s life. In the world of ballet, it is death by a thousand micro-aggressions.”

Last but not least we have our youngest Liar Minnie played by Malia Pyles! Minnies description reads: “Having survived a childhood trauma, Minnie spends most of her time in a virtual world, but she is more than capable of taking on the dark forces of Millwood — including ‘A.'”

Of course it wouldn’t be a PLL series without some love stories mixed into all the drama and the new class of guys has been revealed as well!

Here’s what we know so far!
Carson Rowland, Jordan Gonzalez, Ben Cook, Alex Aiono, and Elias Kacavas have joined the cast as recurring characters!

Carson is playing Chip who, like Tabby is a major film buff. And he’s not-so-secretly crushing on her.
Jordan will be Ash, a handsome transgender student at Millwood High and Minnie’s romantic interest!
Ben is Henry, an arrogant, yet deeply talented ballerino at Millwood high and Faran’s partner on and off the stage.
Alex is Shawn, Noa’s (Reficco) supportive boyfriend and one of the most popular jocks at Millwood High.
Elias is Greg! Greg is the boyfriend to our liars at school nemesis named Karen! Karen will be played by Mallory Bechtel and is described as the “reigning queen of mean!” By day their relationship is picture perfect BUT by night, they share a secretly tumultuous relationship echoing that of Karen’s own parents.
There will of course be important adult characters in this new universe as well!
So far we know Eric Johnson will be playing Sheriff Beasley, who's described as the domineering patriarch of the Beasley family!
And we also know Benton Greene will star as Zeke, Faran’s adoring father! Zeke struggles to navigate the hardscrabble world of the steel mill and the frilly, feminine world of ballet that his daughter inhabits.

Based on what we know about the ensemble cast and the universe they’ve created it sounds like fans are in for a very exciting new pretty little liars chapter!
HBO Max is also home to the gossip girl reboot- which took a similar approach with brand new characters in the same universe- and fans have been loving the new gossip girl so hopefully PLL Original Sin finds the same success!

There’s no word yet on an official release date BUT the series has officially started production in NYC so it will hopefully be here before we know it!

I think its safe to say we’re all freaking out right along with her and cannot wait to see what they do with the series!
