Here's a rather different TNO custom event. This one being about a hypothetical scenario in Gus Hall's America where Russell B. Long assumes the Presidency at the eleventh hour (which may or may not involve a coup). If the name sounds familiar, it's because he's the son of the (in)famous Huey Long himself, and here he not only tries to live up to the Kingfish's name but becomes the new one.
For some trivia, the music is a combination of Randy Newmann's 1970s cover of "Every Man a King" ([ Ссылка ] ) and a much more recent one by Dan Heister's One Man Band ( [ Ссылка ] ). While the image is an actual snapshot from Mardi Gras at New Orleans from sometime in the early '70s.
And yes, the clip at the very end is from Huey Long's "Share our Wealth" speech ( [ Ссылка ] ).
