Several tornadoes ripped through Cape Cod, Massachusetts, leaving a trail of damage. The storms hit during a time when the region is packed with summer tourists. In 2018, nearly four million people visited the Cape Cod National Seashore, according to its Chamber of Commerce. Video showed roofs torn off buildings, as well as downed trees and wires.
