I had the chance here in Bosnia-Herzgovina to go out on sections of the amazing Via Dinarica trail. On the trip, we made a stop in the most remote village in Bosnia, a town called Lukomir. This village is not only the most remote, but it's also the highest in Bosnia, and located on the edge of one to the most epic canyons in Europe. Lukomir is such a beautiful place, and the inhabitants are incredibly welcoming.
The village is only accessible about 6 months a year due to snow, but if you get the chance to come, you should definitely visit Bosnia's most remote village.
