Various trains seen at Munich's Ostbahnhof one Saturday afternoon. Ostbahnhof is at one end of the Stammstrecke S-bahn tunnel under the centre of Munich, so it sees trains from all the S-bahn routes, and is the terminus of two routes. It is also on the main routes to Austria, serving both Innsbruck and Salzburg. Ostbahnhof is a terminus for German Motor-rail trains, where your car travels with you on the train, while you sleep in a couchette carriage.
