2.5 lb fresh tomatoes
1.2 lb tomato paste
1.3 lb shallots
1 cup canola oil (or of choice)
8 cloves garlic
70 grams fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon aniseed
3 star anise
1 Maggie shrimp tablets
2 tablespoons powdered shrimp
2 teaspoons salt; or to your taste.
