Good day gamers! I was able to sneak out to the shop last weekend and get a couple of games in with my colleagues! My first opponent just got back into 40k about a month and half ago after a few-year hiatus, but just now dipped into AoS. So, we played a game with all the models he had available, which surmounted to a 1300pt game.
Ogors List:
Tyrant - Deathcheater (3+ Save, IIRC)
Butcher - Wizardflesh Apron, "Bloodfeast" spell
12 Gluttons - Full Command, Paired Blades/Clubs
3 Gluttons - Champ, Ironfists
4 Ironguts - Full Command
4 Leadbelchers - Champ
2 Leadbelchers - Champ
StD List:
Chaos Lord on Karkadrak (general)
StD Daemon Prince with Hellforged Sword
10 Chaos Warriors
10 Bloodletters (allied in, but I wasn't worried about "allies" rules)
2x3 Varanguard, one unit with Ensorcelled weapons and the other with Lances
AFTERTHOUGHTS:
1. Boy, it's good to get out to the shop again! :D
2. Shifting Objectives is probably my favorite "easy" mission to play. It's not super complicated, but it can give the game a lot more depth.
3. My opponent just bought his Slaves to Darkness book, and since I'm not as familiar with the army myself, I'm not sure what all he might have missed. I know we had intended for everything on his team to have Mark of Khorne, but I don't actually know what bonus that gives, haha..... BUT, it was still a really fun, and in my opinion, really close game.
Alright folks, you know the drill! Please like/comment/subscribe! Thanks!
