I've always wondered if you could cook on a cast iron weight plate.

I'm sure you've wanted to as well. So, I took one for the team and decided to indulge our collective curiosity.

Using a Kamado Joe Grill/Smoker, I baked a cornbread cake in a 45 LB Rogue Deep Dish Weight Plate.

Here are the results. Enjoy. And don't do this at home. E-Coat is likely toxic.
