NEW 2024 Avatr 12 in-depth Walkaround

The 2024 Avatr 12 is a mid-to-large-sized electric sedan, available in two powertrain configurations. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) version features a 230-kilowatt (313 horsepower) electric motor, delivering 370 Nm of torque and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. This variant is equipped with a 94.5-kWh CATL NMC battery, providing an impressive range of 700 km according to the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).

In contrast, the all-wheel drive (AWD) version boasts a Huawei dual-motor setup, producing a substantial 425 kW (578 horsepower) and 650 Nm of torque. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Despite the increased power, the AWD variant uses the same 94.5-kWh CATL NMC battery, which offers a range of 650 km under the CLTC.

Dimensionally, the Avatr 12 measures 197.6 inches (5,020 millimeters) in length, 78.7 inches (1,999 millimeters) in width, and 57.4 inches (1,460 millimeters) in height, with a wheelbase of 119.2 inches (3,030 millimeters). The vehicle's curb weight is 2,300 kg (5,100 lbs) for the AWD version and 2,180 kg (4,810 lbs) for the RWD version.

The Avatar 12 is built on Changan's CHN smart electric vehicle platform and incorporates Huawei's advanced "Huawei Inside" solution, which includes the company's high-performance motors. This combination of Changan's engineering and Huawei's technology positions the Avatr 12 as a sophisticated and high-performing electric sedan.
