Cover tests are an important part of the Orthoptic evaluation. the principle behind cover tests is the breaking of fusion of the two eyes. There are 3 types of cover tests namely, the DIRECT COVER TEST, COVER -UNCOVER TEST, ALTERNATE COVER TEST and INDIRECT COVER TEST. the video explains the need, procedure and interpretation of each cover test in detail with important clinical nuggets .
