Greece's Blusoul has been quiet of late on the production front. He's had 3 amazing remixes released this year but as yet no new original productions.

His aforementioned 2011 remixes of Blue Haze, Suffused and Ozgur Ozkan all were staples in the Release Promo Top 50. Here we are in the fourth month of 2011 and at long last we have the first Blusoul original production entitled 'Eat Dust' It comes courtesy of Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistiquemusic which has been on fire of late! This is an interesting package for Misitique as there are a few new names on the remix front like, Coldberg & Repton, Innuendo and DJ Taucher.
Blusoul's original starts with rough stabs and pristinely produced breakbeats amidst a swirling oasis of atmospheric sounds. Then enter the unique vocal pads that add a great element of soul to the production. After the breakdown some additional warm chords fade into the mix that when mixed with the wailing vox is pure goosebump material. An amazing soulful production from Blusoul who just keeps getting better and better.
For the first remix Lithuania's Coldberg & Repton provide a progressive house interpretation. The duo have kept the rhythmic synth stabs relatively intact and the soulful vocal really carries the track as it transitions from prog to breaks with ease. Very smooth stuff from Coldberg & Repton.
The next remix is supplied by Innuendo which is a downtempo breaks alias for the UK's Duane Barry whom you should all be familar with for his excellent Digital Sensation UK label that has been consistently pushing out some of the best in progressive and futuristic breaks. Duane has given the track a much more cinematic feel as he has used the vocals and piano to great effect and created a very ethereal vibe with a veritable wasteland of sonic soundscapes and lovely melodic touches throughout.
Germany's DJ Taucher who is certainly well known for his countless hit records on Positiva and Additive back in the day provides the last remix on the package. Taucher has stripped the original right down an come up with a brilliant drummy interpretation. Blusoul's rythmic lead stabs enhance the wicked percussive groove Taucher has come up with and with the addition of some really fresh sounds from Taucher this one turns into a major dancefloor stormer. This is quite a unique and interesting package from Mistique with four mixes that all add something very different. Quite a refreshing release and very high quality.
