We are trying something new... reviewing the campsites we visit. What do you think? In our first attempt at reviewing campgrounds, we take you to one of the many Oregon state campgrounds near Ashland, up at the beautiful Mt Ashland Campground. It is a free campsite in Oregon and is first-come, first-serve. We were lucky enough to nab a site on a Saturday night and enjoy the beautiful area of the Klamath National Forest!

There are plenty of Mount Ashland adventures to be had while staying up here like hiking, mountain biking, hanging out with some epic views, and of course skiing/snowboarding when the winter hits! But camping then might be a little cold. lol.

We give you all the odds and ends of tent camping in Oregon up at Mt Ashland Campground and give you an overall rating at the end.
