NASCAR showed details of a crash test they did in order to make changes and updates to the next Gen car for safety matters. This comes as a result of a hard crash between Kyle Larson and Ryan Preece at Talladega this past April. They added some steel plates to the doors and also removed some parts from the front clip in order to make the front clip give more and for the doors to be more sturdy. In these crash tests, they calculated the angle of the crash, speed difference, and point of impact. Lots of interesting stuff and NASCAR made sure to be transparent and give as much information as possible.
