Alpine Lodge Tamborine Mountain, an iconic residence created by Sydney architect Glynn Nicholls in the 1960's in the mid century modern design for which he was famous. It has been lovingly restored to its former glory, combining original character features with modern luxuries by the current custodian. Set on 1.64 ha, the two titles of botanic style gardens have also been regenerated and the many specimen trees, ornate gardens and fruit and nut groves that have been given a new lease on life re-creating a park like feel to the property.
Tamborine Mountain is a vibrant country community within The Scenic Rim, it is the "Green Behind The Gold" just 30 minutes to the Gold Coast, 1 hour from Brisbane and with 2 major airports within an hours drive. Boasting an array of Tourist attractions including Distillerys, Wineries, Rainforest, Queenslands Oldest National Park and many highly acclaimed restaurants and of course amazing views East to the Gold Coast, West to the Great Dividing Range, North to the Bay of Brisbane & city, South to the Border Ranges.
