I think I painted around 90% of each model since I'm not that happy with dull and incomplete colors. Maybe I'm so used to Bandai master grade models with so much details even just snap build that's why I'm having hard time accepting these kits on their raw build.
I used metallic on the primary colors and the semi gloss finish is just right to bounce the lights. I painted the parts before assembling them (except black pieces, joints, sword blades/handles, feet claws, Rayearth's shield claws and parts inside that are not visible on display). I checked the anime and other models for some missing details.
I'm so happy now with my kits, not as perfect like pro build but definitely got the details I want.
