This was the very first official walk of my set of walks along the London Underground. If I've done my calculations right, this is walk one of 408 - Upminster Bridge to Hornchurch along the District Line.

After being told (by a local, we hasten to add) that they found the Upminster Bridge to be absolutely lacking in charm and uninteresting, we set out to prove them wrong on a scenic walk to the next station.
