Sabbione in Switzerland is a real life hobbit town that looks like "The Lord of the Rings". This Swiss village has buildings that remind of Hobbiton, the hobbit town in the movie Lord of the Rings. Sabbione is built into a hill and some of the buildings are on top of or under massive rocks. Sabbione is located in the Bavona Valley in the Canton of Ticino. It is a short drive from Locarno and Ascona.
