Florida governor Ron DeSantis signed a law this week banning abortions after the 6th week of pregnancy in the state. The law has some exceptions for rape and incest, for which survivors need to show officially documented proof. To that Florida state representative Fentrice Driskell says “how dare they push survivors of rape to be on Ron DeSantis’ timeline.” She joined American Voices to discuss.
