Monster pine loaded onto the sawmill and whittled down for a historic building in the middle of farm country.

This big log, Logzilla's Lil' Bro gets, was still difficult to load with the Wood-Mizer LT40 Hydraulic. However, with tricks like using the log clamp with a choker chain attached to assist the loaders, we got it up! And all this on a weekend!

I'm sure the LT40 Wide would have milled this a little easier with it's greater opening but the LT35 wouldn't have been able to handle it I'm thinking. It's tough to mill 30+ inch logs on any of these mills frankly, but I enjoy a challenge!
