A day before the New Year, Leo, Tig, their friends and other taiga dwellers build a snow statue of the Blizzard so that on the New Year’s night the Blizzard would come and make festive fireworks in the forest.

The next day, a cone hockey tournament is held in the forest. Leo and Tig make it to the finals – something they’ve been dreaming about for a long time. Meanwhile, the snow statue is threatened by a giant snow ball that’s got stuck on the mountain slope. Now, it’s hanging over the statue and should it roll down, it will annihilate everything in its way. Leo and Tig risk missing the finals to try and save the statue. As the ball inevitably rolls down, Leo and Tig use their hockey skills and save the statue. Unfortunately, they do miss the finals and hence their chance to win the cup that they wanted to get so much. Nevertheless, the Taiga dwellers give the cup to the cubs to thank them for saving the holiday for everyone.
