HOKA Mach X ($180) is the latest in HOKA's road shoe line. It has been upgraded to include a carbon plate; a solid option for long runs and tempo workouts. I wouldn't go with this one for anything much faster than that. It's a fast feeling shoe with a bit more cushion than some of HOKA's other fast / carbon plated shoes.
